About Me

My photo
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
I have been creating art throughout my life but it was not until the beginning of 2010, having ample time in my hands that i started creating art on a full-time basis. I am a self taught artist, having no formal education in art, painting solely driven by interest, love for art and passion. Occasionally, dream and emotion inspired. As an emotional painter, expressing myself in my artwork is as important as it is for me to breath. Expressing myself through art enables me to reach deep down into my true essential self and share that state of interconnectedness and "entanglement". When an idea becomes compulsion, I express it. I believe that Art is an essential requirement of living. I am from Sarawak, a Malaysian born and raised in Brunei Darussalam and lived in Miri, Sarawak for most of my adult life. I am currently residing in Kuala Lumpur. I have two beautiful children.

Pray for Japan, Pray for all

NOT FOR SALE

What would it take for us to realise,
the things which are important in life,
and those which are not.

Do you believe in prayer?
that it brings HOPE, even when you think
it doesn't make a difference to the other side of the world?
Trust in God with all your heart.

The Marionette

The Marionette
AVAILABLE
Size: 20x20 inches
Acrylic on canvas

"The Marionette. I was a marionette. Lifeless, motionless and willing or not, able to live only in the hands and at the will of the master puppeteer. Pull one string my hand moves. Pull another my leg. Yet another my heart breaks. Pull them all at once, I was torn apart. I came a long way down a lonely, painful road. Searching for truth, finding only lies. Finding pain where pleasure should be, emptiness, not fulfillment".
(extracted from the internet).

"How ridiculous I was as a Marionette! And how happy I am, now that I have become a real person/woman" ~ anon.
